First CornerStone Bank celebrated the Grand Opening of the Malvern Branch. The days’ activities were started and highlighted by a live broadcast of Sportsradio 610 WIP’s Angelo Cataldi & the Morning Team Show. For the second year in a row, the Bank won this unique opportunity through 610 WIP’s Annual Radiothon to benefit the Philadelphia Eagles Youth Partnership.
The event brought many new and existing customers to the Branch for great Philadelphia sports talk, good food, food entertainment and a look at FCSB’s new branch location. The day’s activities were a great introduction of First CornerStone and community banking to the Malvern business community.

First CornerStone Bank was the main sponsor for the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce’s Open House event. This semi-annual event was a great opportunity for new, existing and prospective members to connect with the Bank and fellow members of their community. FCSB’s Ridley Park Branch led the Chamber’s “Lunch and Learn” program with a valuable presentation on the FDIC and effective ways for customers to protect their deposits. The event provided another great opportunity to enlighten depositors of all types, from individuals to small businesses, on the great benefits and strength of community banks like First CornerStone Bank.

For the 6th year running, First CornerStone Bank was the lead sponsor of the Media 5 Mile Race. This year over 1,200 runners participated in this fun day of community involvement. The event benefits the great town of Media and the Media Recreation Board. Robert Jara, President and CEO of First CornerStone Bank, welcomed this year's runners and local community supporters prior to the start of the race. First CornerStone Bank continues to be a member and supporter of the local community.

First CornerStone Bank continues its "Platoon Partners" program in conjunction with the Concordville-Chadds Ford Rotary. Through the program and the generous donations of our customers and employees, the Bank has been able to send supplies and food to our troops overseas. As well, the "Platoon Partners" program and the efforts of local Rotary clubs have made medical care available to Iraqi children in need.
