First CornerStone Bank employees continued their participation the in Daffodil Days program, one of the American Cancer Society’s oldest and most beloved fundraising programs.
In addition to raising funds for the treatment of cancer, Daffodil Days continues to increase public awareness of one of the top health concerns of our country today. With this program, those who donate receive daffodil flowers in return for their contribution. These flowers are given by the bunch, by the vase, and by the pot, in order to share them with family and friends touched by cancer.
First CornerStone Bank is proud to be able to join the American Cancer Society in the fight against this disease.

First CornerStone Bank continued its support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA (BBBS SEPA) serves Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia Counties through a simple but powerful mission: To foster Big Brother and Big Sister relationships which improve the lives of children forever. Their vision is to take their life-changing mission to every child in the region who needs and wants a Big Brother or Big Sister.
From structured screenings of prospective volunteers to ensure child safety, to careful matching of mentor and youth, to continued and professional support during the match, the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring model is designed to create strong, lasting, and supportive relationships between youth and the caring volunteers who serve as Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
Through the simple act of spending time with a young person, and being their friend, mentor, and positive role model, Big Brothers and Big Sisters have a profound positive impact on their Little Brothers and Little Sisters.
Thanks to the dedication of the Bank’s Phoenixville branch, First CornerStone is able to help this organization that in 2008 served 690 children in Chester County alone.

This winter, First CornerStone Bank participated in the Greater Philadelphia Cares Winter Coat Drive Program. All branches served as a collection and drop off site for “gently used” winter coats from January 1st thru the 18th. Despite this being the first year the Bank participated in the program, the turnout was far more successful than expected. Thanks to the donations from customers, employees and friends, a total of 44 winter coats were donated to the program partner, the Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Thank you to all who helped to make Philadelphia a little warmer this winter!
