First CornerStone Bank is a locally owned and operated community bank. We believe that as a growing community bank we have the right and obligation to ensure our local communities are better places for all to live, work and enjoy.
For the 5th year running, FCSB participated in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Program. The goal of this program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the Holiday months, and to distribute those toys as gifts to needy children in our local communities. As in years past, each branch was listed as a Drop Off Site. The program ran until Monday, December 15th.
We would like to thank our customers and employees for their donations. We are proud to have collected over 200 toys that helped children in the local area during the Holiday Season. For more information on how you can donate toys, become a drop-off site, or want to help wrap, please visit http://www.toysfortots.org.

First CornerStone Bank hosted “Guest Chef Night” for the 3rd time at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. It was a great night! Our crew worked in harmony as dinner was prepared on time by 6pm! We got many compliments that the food was very tasty as well! Our Breakfast for Dinner menu consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes (plain, blueberry & chocolate chip), tater tots, buttered toast, and fruit salad. Desserts were served complimentary of branch employees.
We really enjoyed “Guest Chef Night.” It truly was a pleasure to help serve a home-cooked meal to families in tough times. Seeing the smile and gratitude on the faces of the residents of the Ronald McDonald House was the icing on the cake. Cradles to Crayons is a charity organization that provides children through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. C2C supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. They collect new and nearly new children's items through community drives and corporate donations. Donations are then processed and packaged by volunteers, and are distributed to disadvantaged children across the state through a collaborative network of social service agencies and school partners.
Our Chadds Ford Branch has chosen to partner with Cradles to Crayons as a drop-off collection site. From Tuesday, September 2nd through Saturday, November 29th, First CornerStone Bank collected new and like-new children’s items. For more information on how you can donate, please go to www.cradlestocrayons.org.
Thank you to all to help make a difference for the children of Philadelphia!

Our Wealth Management Group held a financial workshop at the Chadds Ford branch. Our Wealth Management director, John Eisele, created and presented a few topics in a workshop format that he “tailored” on the spot to those in attendance. This led to a valuable group discussion, as well as follow-up appointments to go over additional information. First CornerStone Bank plans to host more wealth management focused meetings at all of our branches in the future coming months.

First CornerStone Bank hosted “Guest Chef Night” at the Ronald McDonald House. The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House supports families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. While it costs them nearly $90 a night per family to provide housing and supportive services, families are only asked to contribute $15 per night. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
There are many ways to help this great cause – ours was to cook dinner for these families. While they spend their days running back and forth from the hospital, they look forward to a night at the Ronald McDonald house where they can relax and enjoy a worry-free home-cooked meal.
On July 1st, employees of First CornerStone Bank served breakfast for dinner, complete with bacon, eggs, and pancakes! Our employees had so much fun doing it! The Bank plans on hosting another “Guest Chef Night” in the fall! More details to come.

First CornerStone Bank employees got to “dress down” and wear yellow on Friday, February 22nd. This was due to their participation the in Daffodil Days program. Daffodils are the first flower of Spring, and signify the symbol of hope for cancer patients throughout our community. Not only does the Daffodil Days Program raise funds for the American Cancer Society, it also continues to increase public awareness of one of the top health concerns of our country today. In return for their contribution, employees were given flowers by the bunch, by the vase, by the pot, and with a stuffed bear in order to share them with family and friends touched by cancer.
