Mission

In 2000, First CornerStone Bank's Board of Directors declared a mission to service a target segment of small to mid-size businesses, especially those neglected by larger banks focused only on big business. With loan demand less than one million dollars, these companies were unable to access the decision makers to guide them or the funds to grow their businesses. Ten years later and with an excess of $220M in assets, First CornerStone Bank continues this mission of engaging customers with quality banking products and services.

Drawing upon the commitment of its Board of Directors and experienced management team, First CornerStone Bank is a trusted source for community banking in the Greater Philadelphia region. The Bank offers valuable and responsive customer service for those consumers and businesses that have continued to be overlooked by nationally focused financial providers. History

First CornerStone opened its first office in King of Prussia, PA in March 2000. The Bank's founder and former CEO, James K Overstreet, led a Board of Directors that formed a team of experienced managers committed to developing a leading, regionally-focused financial institution. In June of 2001, the Bank opened is second branch in Media, PA. After surpassing numerous deposit and lending targets, the Bank opened its third branch in Ridley Park, PA in 2004 and fourth branch in Phoenixville, PA in 2006. Most recently, First CornerStone opened its fifth branch in Malvern, PA in July 2008. The Bank currently is in process of opening a sixth location in Chadds Ford, PA with a scheduled opening date of Summer 2010.

Today, the Bank's focus on quality customer service has translated into success. With over $220 million in assets and over $175 million in loans, First CornerStone has begun to establish itself as a premier local lending institution. The Bank continually looks to identify and develop new opportunities to enhance its offerings and services, as well as grow its branch network in the Greater Philadelphia region.
