  First CornerStone Bank celebrated the Grand Opening of its fifth branch location in Malvern, PA. The days’ activities featured a live broadcast of Sportsradio 610 WIP’s Angelo Cataldi & the Morning Team Show, food and a large turnout of FCSB’s customer base. Robert Jara, President and CEO, was a guest on the radio show. Mr. Jara was able to talk about FCSB’s recent successes and the financial strength of community banks in the Delaware Valley.   First CornerStone Bank was the main sponsor for the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce’s Open House event. This semi-annual event was a great opportunity for new, existing and prospective members to connect with the Bank and fellow members of their community.   First CornerStone Bank’s Digital Deposit system is fully launched and available to qualified Bank customers. The Digital Deposit system allows business customers to make Bank deposits from the convenience of their home or office, without the need for a daily bank run or waiting in traffic. In response to customer feedback and the desire to continually improve the customer experience, the new system will have multiple layers of adaptive security that will replace the two-factor matrix card system. On May 1, 2008, the improved and secure Choice Banking Online update will be fully implemented.   First CornerStone Bank’s Digital Deposit system begins customer testing, with a full customer rollout expected for mid-to-late January 2008. The Digital Deposit system allows business customers to make bank deposits from the comfort of their office using the ACH network through Independent Bankers Bank. No more daily runs to the Bank or waiting in traffic and lines. Deposits received by 5:00 EST receive full-value credit the next business banking day. Businesses can view check images and optionally download data into their A/R systems. Customers connect via a web-based program and scan deposits using the latest technology in check scanners – easy to implement, easy to use.
